I'm a storyteller who believes in capturing the real, unfiltered moments that make life truly beautiful. Based in the heart of Lubbock, Texas, I've made it my mission to make people feel seen, known, and cherished through my lens.
If you're looking for someone who will capture your favorite moments and sweetest seasons with an authentic touch, well, look no further. I'm here to bring your story to life. With a genuine passion for my craft and an unwavering commitment to preserving the fleeting magic of everyday life, I pour my heart and soul into every click of the shutter.
But let me tell you a little bit about the woman behind the camera! (It's me, hi!) Besides being a photographer, I'm a wife to my amazing husband, Joe, and a proud momma to four incredible Es: Everett, Emerson, Emmett, and Elliott. They are my biggest source of inspiration and the reason I strive to capture the depth of love and emotion that exists within families.
Whether you're eagerly anticipating the arrival of your little one, celebrating a milestone, or simply want to preserve the beauty of your everyday life, I would be honored to embark on this photographic adventure with you. Together, let's create timeless photographs that not only reflect the uniqueness of your story but also warm your heart for years to come.
Got upgraded camera gear and started offering more photo sessions to friends and family
I was given a Barbie Polaroid camera and was hooked. I think my parents probably regretted that gift because I wanted to document ALL the things and went through a lot of film.
Camera upgrade to the Polaroid I-Zone - Can you say STICKERS?!
went "full time" with photography & branded myself as "Known Photo" - finally got the guts to call myself a Photographer! SO WILD.
I photographed a birth and there was no turning back!
Started working in digital marketing, taking lots of photos for clients for social media, and did sessions for friends
Got my first digital camera. It was a game-changer. I was constantly doing photoshoots with all of my friends.
Throughout middle school and high school, I ALWAYS had a camera with me. Please don't go scroll back on my Facebook... I was quite the "photographer" and really loved "editing" my friend's photos. It's CRINGE.
I started my first photography class in college and my parents surprised me with my first "big girl" camera, a Canon Rebel.
Offered my VERY FIRST fall family mini sessions and family photography became my side hustle

However, I didn't immediately pursue formal doula training. At the time, my photography business was still in its early stages, and the idea felt both intimidating and overwhelming. Imposter syndrome crept in, and I hesitated to take that leap.
Then, the world changed. The pandemic struck, and everything shifted. It became clear that if I wanted to continue serving my clients in the hospital setting, I needed to officially become a doula. In August of 2020, I seized the opportunity and embarked on a doula training that would forever alter my path. And so, the rest, as they say, is history.
Now, armed with both my photographic lens and the nurturing support of a doula, I am dedicated to empowering mamas and their families on their unique journeys. I bring my personal experiences, the knowledge gained from training, and the unwavering commitment to being a compassionate guide through the beautiful, transformative process of birth.
Let me take you back to the second birth I ever photographed. The courageous momma I was capturing didn't have a doula but was determined to have an unmedicated birth in the hospital. As I walked into the room, she stood at 6cm, visibly exhausted and feeling defeated.
Having undergone an extensive birth course prior to the arrival of my own children and experiencing the joy of delivering them without medication, I couldn't simply stand by, capturing photos while she questioned herself and struggled. Drawn upon my personal knowledge and the wisdom imparted by my incredible midwife and chiropractor, I instinctively stepped into the role of a doula. I began massaging her back, guiding her into different positions, and doing everything in my power to help her navigate through each contraction. Witnessing the remarkable beauty of her unmedicated birth,
The birth was beautiful and powerful. I was shaking when the mom started pushing.
It was incredible and I was hooked. I remember walking out after baby was born, calling my husband, and saying, "wow. I think I was made for this. I think this is EXACTLY what I'm supposed to do."

This was the Moment
I remember getting the call that momma was in labor and the adrenaline that pulsed through my veins is something I will never forget.
